BBC Look North visit Chocolate Works

With great excitement, residents and staff at The Chocolate Works Care Village welcomed the team from BBC Look North on Wednesday 20th November. Presenter Amy Garcia interviewed a number of electoral candidates about plans to solve the social care crisis and Springfield Healthcare Group CEO, Graeme Lee, was also interviewed live alongside our own Choc Works wellbeing co-ordinator Libertee Hull.  Libertee was asked about her career in care and what would attract more talented and caring individuals into our industry where recruitment is often a significant challenge. We thought Libertee was fab and did us proud by asking the media to focus more on the positive aspects of careers in care.

Graeme articulated superbly in a short space of time how critical the political situation is with respect to the care industry and what additional funding is required for.  It was great to see our beautiful home showcased on the television!
