Springfield support Marie Curie Fundraising Campaign

Springfield Healthcare put on their fundraising hats recently, and thanks to the generosity of our staff, residents and visitors, we’re delighted to announce a successful campaign in support of Marie Curie. Staff at Springfield Healthcare enthusiastically participated in Marie Curie’s daffodil campaign, selling the daffodil pins in receptions and tearooms. We have raised £176.82 for the charity, which offers invaluable care and support to people living with terminal illnesses.

Adele Burton, Employee Wellbeing Lead at Springfield Healthcare, said: “We are thrilled to have raised such a fantastic amount for Marie Curie. Their dedication to providing high-quality care to those facing terminal illness is truly inspiring and we’re proud to support their vital work. The generosity of our staff, residents and visitors has been overwhelming and we’d like to thank everyone who contributed to this successful campaign.”

Marie Curie nurses provide essential care and support to terminally ill patients in their homes, hospitals, and hospices. The funds raised by Springfield Healthcare will help the charity continue its vital work, ensuring that people with terminal illnesses receive the support they need during a difficult time.
