Seacroft Grange celebrate 10 years

Springfield’s Seacroft Grange is celebrating 10 years of providing care and support to the community.

We are so proud of everything we have accomplished in the past decade, from building a strong team of dedicated caregivers who are committed to providing our residents with high-quality and kind care to developing a wide range of programs and activities that help our residents stay active and engaged.

We have also been awarded a GOOD by the Care Quality Commission and we have developed our unique care focused research programme (NICHE-Leeds) in conjunction with Leeds University, Leeds Beckett and other care providers.

We are committed to providing our residents with a safe, loving, and supportive environment since we believe that everyone deserves to live a happy and fulfilling life. We are also grateful to the many people who have supported us over the years, including residents, their families, staff and volunteers, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community for many years to come. Thank you for being a part of our journey!

Our 10th birthday celebrations

Our 10th birthday party was a joyous occasion. Residents, their families, the community and our dedicated staff gathered for an evening of laughter, reminiscing, and a touch of nostalgia. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a selection of delicious treats and drinks to enjoy. Amidst the festivities, there was a sense of gratitude for the many years of care and companionship that the home has provided.

Intergenerational Project with Beechwood Primary

Our intergenerational project with local school, Beechwood, has flourished over the years, bringing together the wisdom of the elderly with the boundless energy of youth. Intrigued by the creativity displayed in the intergenerational project, our activities team reached out to propose a birthday cake design competition. The students from the school showcased their artistic flair, putting their imagination to the test as they designed our birthday cake. Home Manager, Eve, selected her favourite design, which was brought to life by the father of one of our caregivers

Winning student, Sophia, used a harmonious blend of vibrant colours and playful patterns to perfectly capture the essence of the bond between the school and our home. And the cake was delicious!

Winner, Sophia, with Seacroft Grange’s Wellbeing & Engagement Team Lead, Linda Shaw
