Remembrance Days at Springfield Healthcare Homes
Remembrance Day inspired Springfield residents to get creative whilst paying their respects to the men and women of the Second World War generation, and to those of today’s!
Our residents painted poppies, decorated their communities and paid tribute with a 2 minutes silence. Wellbeing & Activities Manager said “it’s very important that we all commemorate Remembrance Day which marks the day that World War One ended in 1918. Remembrance Day is such an important day for us all. I am glad that we have done our part to honour the lives lost in service of our country.”
