Nursing Associate Programmes with Springfield

The Nursing Associate Programme was developed in 2015 to bridge the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, and to provide an alternative route to become a registered nurse and develop the capacity of the nursing workforce within the UK.

At Springfield, we support our healthcare assistants and offer the Nursing Associate programme to those who want to develop their careers with us. Our clinical team work alongside our Nursing associates during their training and exams to qualify and become confident Nurses.

We are delighted that three of our Springfield employees have recently completed this programme to receive their Nursing pins. Congratulations to Jonathan Aldus from Seacroft Green Care Centre and Agnes Manka and Jay Garraton from Mayfield View Care Home.

“I am very pleased about completing the Nursing Associate course. I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey over the last two years and the opportunities given to me. I have received ample support from the company, especially from my manager, Katie, who remained my pillar throughout the course by providing learning opportunities and sharing her own expertise to help me achieve.”
– Agnes Manka (Mayfield View)
