Christmas at Hull branch
From the lovely manager Kellie : Christmas at Hull 2020 has brought us all as a team – customers, carers, and office staff – closer together.
This year wasn’t our typical Christmas celebration, we couldn’t spend our time together as the Hull family we are, so instead we tried to make the day as special as possible for as many people as we could.
One of our carers Kayleigh is one of the most thoughtful people you could ever wish to have on your team. She liaised with a friend of hers who is a primary school teacher and she and her colleagues sent out handmade Christmas cards from all her school children.
This made so many people smile – we had to share! Here are just a few! (See right)
We tried to give back to as many people as possible in our community and one of our care coordinators Kathryn started a collection of toiletries for our Covid-19 ward at Castle Hill Hospital. They were running out of basic essentials for their patients.
As soon as Kathryn saw they needed help and support she put out a Facebook appeal to all our carers asking if they would like to donate. The response was amazing, and Kathryn was able to deliver bags of toiletries to the ward and its patients.
Well done Hull! This is just remarkable – Springfield is lucky to have you!
