Job Description

The role will be responsible for the creation and delivery of Springfield Healthcare Sales and Marketing strategy whilst leading the team and working collaboratively with the senior teams to support the Company and optimise opportunities for growth in occupancy and deliver excellence in customer service. You will effectively lead the sales, marketing and PR communications for the Company. The successful candidate will drive performance and growth at Group as well as Care Home level.

Previous sector specific experience is essential.

The role is senior, with accountability to board level through our Chief Operating Officer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Track the effectiveness of the marketing plan including campaign effectiveness and conversions
  • Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results
  • Compile monthly KPI's and report to the Executive team on the performance of the sales and marketing strategy
  • Create and implement a roadmap to meet growth targets into new geographical territories as required
  • Conduct regular and in-depth analysis of competitor and customer trends and patterns and act on the analysis to inform short, medium and long-term strategy
  • Support and actively contribute expertise to customer and staff engagement strategy
  • Regularly report on customer satisfaction/experience/issues
  • Oversee the management of all social media channels, strategy and activity
  • Manage and give direction to the marketing team and operations team
  • Consider opportunities for corporate relationships and ensure any relationships are developed and maintained

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • A degree in Marketing or Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma / Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM) and the Managing and Marketing Sales Association (MAMSA).
  • A proven track record in marketing and sales.
  • Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans.
  • Enthusiastic and creative
  • Analytic ability
  • A confident, driven and dynamic leader with the credibility and commercial awareness to advise and influence at a senior level. Values-led and loyal with the ability to inspire confidence in others.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and experience in leading business-wide change initiatives.
  • A proactive and collaborative relationship-builder with strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with experience managing budgets. Good report writing skills and confidence presenting in a professional manner.
  • Results-oriented with the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
  • A self-starter, comfortable using their initiative and working autonomously.
  • Ability to lead and develop individuals and teams with a positive and motivational leadership style.

Additional Information:

This role will require some degree of Care Home visits. From 11 November 2021 all employees who need to enter a care facility to undertake their duties will need to be fully vaccinated (and provide proof of their vaccination status) unless they are under 18 years of age, or they are medically exempt.
