Well-being & Activities
When it comes to activities at Springfield Care Home, we offer a wealth of opportunities to ensure that all of our residents have fun and enjoy their lives with us. Our dedicated wellbeing and activities team work tirelessly to organise a wide range of activities to keep our residents engaged and entertained. Recently, we have organised art classes, gardening sessions, karaoke singalongs and much, much more for our residents.
We are also heavily involved with the local community; working closely with a local children’s home, helping to deliver clothing and food to the homeless and celebrating events such as Elf Day and Children in Need to support and raise funds for such amazing charities.

Our Food Menus
We’ve created a choice of beautifully designed spaces to dine in, and our Head of Hospitality works in partnership with award winning supplier Apetito to provide a range of delicious, nutritious meals to delight our residents and make sure that they look forward to every meal. Whether it’s socialising with friends over dinner, or enjoying a quiet meal, we offer something for everyone in terms of a wide variety of tastes and we regularly review our menus to introduce tasty new meals. Naturally, we also offer texture modified meals and special diets (diabetic, energy dense, low fat) as well as Kosher.
Of Our Rooms
At Springfield Carehome, there are 69 fully furnished en-suite rooms across four communities, each with their own identity, generous day spaces and dining areas. This allows personal space for all residents and promotes independence in an open setting.
We encourage residents to bring items with them to make them feel more at home, after all, it is their home! We want our residents to be comfortable and relaxed so if there’s anything that we can do to help please just ask.
There are several communities within the home, each with their own distinguishing features and with a lounge and a dining area at the heart of every community. These subtle changes within each area enable individuals to recognise their surroundings.
The ground floor level boasts a beautiful conservatory which leads out to a level decking and patio area. This multi-function space creates a wonderful area where residents can watch the seasons change. During the summer months, residents together with relatives or friends can enjoy being outside in the garden. Whilst in winter, the elements can be observed from the warmth and comfort of an armchair!
Making the most of the
The new addition of our beautiful winter garden allows residents to experience the outdoors at all times of the year, enjoying the outdoors whilst staying warm and cosy in their armchair.
It is important that all residents have access to the outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and witness the varying seasons. The outdoor space is a place where residents can go to enjoy some peace and tranquillity that they may have enjoyed in their own garden, whilst also providing the physical and mental health benefits that being outdoors can bring. It also allows for residents to participate in outdoor activities such as gardening and watering the flowers.
