Staff Spotlight – Kadie Price

At Springfield Healthcare we are incredibly proud of our passionate and friendly care teams. We have created a blog series to shine a spotlight on some of these individuals, to find out more about their roles and responsibilities as well as what day-to-day interactions they have with our residents.

This month, we have spoken to Kadie Price, Deputy Manager at Seacroft Grange.

What is your job role at Springfield Healthcare?

I first joined the team as a Senior Care Assistant 5 years ago, before being promoted to Community Lead. I am now deputy manager at Seacroft Grange and I absolutely love my job. No two days are the same and I am continually developing and gaining knowledge.

What is the best thing about working for Springfield Healthcare?

We are all one big family, I know that sounds like a cliche but we really are. Our residents are well cared for and we always go above and beyond to make them feel at home.

What sort of other domestic and non-care-related tasks do you offer to residents?

We offer a wide range of activities at Seacroft Grange and our team work hard to ensure that every one of our residents’ wellbeing is their main focus. We often spend time in our Bistro, which is the heart of our home, having coffee and chatting to one another. We also offer various activities such as reflexology and hairdressing.

What is the best thing about the team of staff at Springfield Healthcare?

We work together, we help one another and we go above and beyond for each other. Everyone is so supportive.

I am very lucky to be part of the Springfield family and could not think of anything better I would like to be doing.
